More About The Product

Perhaps the best writer of science fiction England has ever produced -- Stephen King Remains fresh and disturbing in an entirely unexpected way Guardian

John Wyndham (1903-69) is the legendary author of the sci-fi classics The Day of the Triffids, The Chrysalids, The Midwich Cuckoos, The Kraken Wakes, Trouble with Lichen and Chocky. When Triffids was published in 1951 he was widely hailed as HG Wells's only and true successor. In pioneering a new type of novel he called 'logical fantasy', he is credited with single-handedly reviving British interest in science fiction after the Second World War.
