Environments can change over time due to natural effects, such as erosion and storms, but a large proportion of environmental change is a result of human actions like land clearing, development, irrigation and dams. In this book, students will discover how Indigenous Australians manage land and resources to create a sustainable way of living. They will also explore the extent of change in Australia's environment due to human actions, and the positive and negative effects in terms of environmental sustainability.
