Lee Mylne first lived in Melbourne for a couple of years in the early 1980s and, although a lot of other places got in the way in the intervening years, she found her way back in 2004 and has lived there ever since. She has spent almost all her working life as a journalist and author and has travelled to about 50 countries. She is a co-author of Frommer’s Australia and AustraliaFor Dummies, the author of Frommer’s Portable Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and Frommer’s Melbourne Day by Day, and a contributor to Frommer’sDream Vacations. She is also the co-editor and a contributor to two travel anthologies, Best Foot Forward, 30 Years of Australian Travel Writing and RedDust &Wanderlust, Tales of Travel in Australia, and is a Life Member and pastpresident of the Australian Society of Travel Writers.
