Geography Now directly supports the Geography, Civics and Citizenship and Economics and Business strands of the Australian Curriculum in Humanities and Social Sciences. Students are given a wide range of information and supporting activities which enhance their understanding of "human behaviour and interaction in social, cultural, environmental, economic and political contexts" (ACARA, Australian Curriculum, Humanities and Social Sciences). The focus is on both personal and global interactions, and assists students to understand local and global future challenges and their role in meeting those challenges.
