Author description

Ursula Ferrigno embodies the Italian passion for good food made from the freshest natural ingredients. Her love of cooking began as a child, when she watched her Italian grandmother prepare traditional family dishes. A former principal tutor for Cordon Vert, Ursula runs cookery courses at Books for Cooks as well as Leith's School of Food and Wine. Ursula has made numerous TV appearances and has written several books, including Bringing Italy Home and Truly Italian (both Mitchell Beazley), Real Fast Vegetarian Food, which went straight into the Sunday Times bestseller list, and The Bread Book, all of which have met with critical acclaim.
