ALEC BYRNE covered the rock-and-roll scene in London from the mid 1960s through the mid 1970s--the heart of London's rock revolution. His work consists of more than eighty thousand frames, all of which were only recently unearthed and are largely unpublished. This archive was reintroduced to the world in late 2012 with a critically acclaimed one-night show in Los Angeles attended by more than one thousand people. Since then, his work has been featured during the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, exhibited at the South by Southwest music festival, and accepted into the National Portrait Gallery in London.
