More About The Product
Nalini Nadkarni is a scientist and a Member of the Faculty at The Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington, where she teaches in the Environmental Studies programme. She is also co-founder and President of the International Canopy Network. In her pursuit of educating people about the rainforest, Nalini gives lectures, has written two books and over 55 articles for scientific journals, as well as appearing on television documentaries. In 2001, a National Geographic documentary Heroes of the High Frontier, in which she was a canopy scientist, won an Emmy Award. Her two children, Gus and Erika, often accompany their parents on research trips to the tropical rainforest. Jinny Johnson has written and edited several titles on natural history and the human body. Her lively, engaging books for young children present information in an original and straightforward way. Jinny lives in London.
