Follow a Grey Seal on an underwater journey in this richly illustrated Nature Storybook. Lying about on the sand like a fat sunbather, seals might seem like slow, dozy creatures - but nothing compares with their grace and speed when they're underwater! Seals can dive like rockets and twist like a dancer. They can stay underwater for up to 15 minutes and dive to depths of 300 feet to find their prey. Find out all this and lots more about these super-swimming wonders in this fascinating book. This is a perfect introduction to the much-loved Grey Seal - one of the species most likely to be encountered on our coasts. In warm, rich language, Chris Butterworth captures the contrast between a Grey Seal's life on land and in the water. It is a debut title for Kate Nelms, a talented natural history artist with a great future ahead of her.
