Description

Polly and Jez are as close as two friends can be - but they've never met. Instead they write letters and postcards to each other. It's the summer holidays and Polly is setting off on an adventure around Australia. She'll be travelling in a caravan with her grandparents. Jez is staying at home. She can only read about all the exciting things Polly is seeing - but she has a very good imagination . . .

Lenny Pelling is a writer and illustrator of children's books. She illustrated and co-designed the popular educational series, X-Zone, and has also illustrated Bananas in Pyjamas and Active Kids books. With her first foray into trade children's books, Lenny is writing and illustrating Pen-Pals Forever, an utterly charming series for beginner readers about two friends, Polly and Jez, and how they maintain their friendship despite the distance - and the differences - between them.
