Peter Harrison is an editor and author of information books for children. Since completing postgraduate work in art history, he has worked in general, children's, and scientific, technical and medical reference publishing. Peter Mellett worked for 18 years as a science teacher following his educational Diploma. Since then, he has worked as an editor, writer and consultant for many children's and adult educational books. Chris Oxlade has worked as a writer and editor on more than 70 books, generally in the field of science and technology, but also in the subject area of sports and hobbies. Dr. John Rostron is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science and Mathematics at the University of East London. His teaching interests cover a wide range, from Animal Biology, through Ecology and Conservation, to Computer Modeling.
