Biography

KL Wells was born in in Euroa in 1922, and grew up in country Victoria. He joined the Royal Australian Navy at the outbreak of World War II. Post-war, his university studies in Australia sparked a lifelong love of literature and language, which he continued to foster during an adventuresome career in the Malayan Civil Service. These are his memoirs, published at the age of 93.
